This hunting lease is leased and not available. Properties like this don't come along very often here in Indiana. With over 200' of elevation change and being over a mile long this property feels way bigger than 240 acres after you walk it. The bottom field's are enrolled in CRP and is 20 acres of great bedding habitat. In big timber country like this the deer will still feel comfortable crossing the CRP in the daylight and if you get a stand or shooting house in the right spot you can cover a lot of ground with a rifle. The landowner tries to cut it one time a year which keeps it low enough to still get some good shots down into it with a bow too. The woods are full of oaks and that should help draw them in for a great fall and winter food source. There's two creeks and a couple small ponds that should give a year round water source. Two access points and plenty of old trails through the woods will make accessing the remote parts of this property fairly simple. I marked the main drive and trail back through fields in black on the aerial photo. The area in blue is a private residence and not included in the lease. This is a great property and once you figure out how the deer are traveling you should have the chance at some great bucks.
