This hunting lease is leased and not available. La Moure County all species lease. These parcels have something for everyone, deer hunter, waterfowl hunter or the upland hunter. Several grassy draws transect the parcels, and with good pheasant numbers in the area, once the crops come down, those birds will be holding up those draws and wetlands. Those wetlands have open water, even in this time of a drought. Waterfowling on those wetlands should be very good, along with the chance to field hunt those birds as well. The corn and bean residue remains on the field, as the farmers practice no till farming. I would love to be sitting in my stand in that old farmstead as those bucks come cruising through during the rut, let alone having a chance at one in velvet as they feed in the bean fields. Properties are in gun unit 2I. Baiting is also legal in this part of the state. Landowner has a home onsite that hunters can rent as a side deal with landowner. Camping optional.
