I got a Missouri Lease through base camp leasing that has been proven to be very successful the last few years. This year was different though, deer were not moving and the heat was above average. I traveled from Michigan to hunt this land for 9 days. 8 days into and I was deeply discouraged and I knew it was going to be a long trip home. On the 9th day, the last morning, the buck that I had on camera in August finally showed up. I took the opportunity while I had it and harvested my biggest buck to date. This was the toughest buck I had worked for and the memories made on this trip will last forever!
