This hunting lease is leased and not available.
There is only one way to describe this farm: it's classic Iowa. The photos of bucks from the property speak for themselves, highlighting the impressive deer you could potentially harvest here. Adding to the appeal, the property to the east is a wildlife refuge with no hunting allowed, further enhancing your odds of harvesting a mature buck. You can access this farm from multiple directions: southeast, southwest, east, and northeast, giving you the ability to beat the wind. The CRP is tall and thick, offering excellent cover and bedding. To give you an idea, I'm 5'10" and the vegetation reached from the top of my shoulders to my head. Another excellent feature of this farm is its seclusion. During my visit, I only saw one vehicle pass by on the gravel road bordering the east side of the property. There are many positive aspects to this lease. For instance, the well-maintained trail system throughout the farm (as shown in the photos) allows for quiet entry and exit to your stand. Although there are cattle on this farm, they are confined to a fenced pasture covering approximately one hundred acres. The timber is scattered across the property in a way that benefits hunters, as deer move from one block of timber to another. I have a strong feeling that whoever leases this farm will harvest some very impressive bucks.
