This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here's an awesome property for lease in Allamakee County. The entire farm is wooded. The west half of this property was planted with Oaks, Walnuts, and Ash trees in the 1990's. It's thick, and appears to be the core bedding area for the neighborhood. I parked near the west side of the property and walked straight NE down the hill into the heavy mature timber. In 250 yards I counted over 25 fresh deer beds walking in a straight line. It's obvious a bunch of mature bucks are frequenting this property. The rubs are huge, and they're everywhere. The farm has multiple access locations for different wind and stand locations. There's also a great trail network for easy quiet access. In recent years the landowner has also been planting dozens of Chestnut trees. These should be producing nuts soon, if not already. The Green box on the map is off limits to hunting. However, you can park and enter the property through it, just be sure to park out of the way in the back. No one lives on the property. Acre for Acre this is probably the best lease I've viewed in Iowa. This one won't take a lot of work to get set up. It will hunt easy, and give you some of the best potential Iowa has to offer.
