This hunting lease is leased and not available. Just under 100 acres this private little honey-hole is surrounded by industrial properties. This lease is filled with tall grass and wood patches. There is some row crops in the low land bottom, basically a massive food plot, bordered by a band of hillside trees. The bowl like property is a wildlife sanctuary filled with tall grasses and hidden from the nearby industrial power stations. There are deer tracks all over this place. Behind the trees and across the railroad tracks are some massive row crop fields, no shortage of food around. Feeding game will be drawn to this property as first light begins to come up. While inspecting the property I bumped a large group of deer out of the woods but still continued to see deer step in and out of the grasses below. Deer seem to just appear out of nowhere down there. This place is a glassing dream, all day binocular fun! I would bet some of the massive grasslands owned by the neighboring power plants never see hunters which means giant buck potential here.

I visited this lease 2/21/20 and found a lot of new buck rubs, a couple very impressive rubs, and bumped the largest group of roosters I have ever seen in one place. I grew up in Iowa hunting pheasant so for me to say that it was a huge group of birds that means something! Had to be at least 50 roosters and hens busting out all around me, the sky was full of feathers and the cackle of roosters, amazing sight!
