This hunting lease is leased and not available. Do not let this lease slip by you!! This is easily one of the best Iowa farms, I have ever inspected. The amount of deer sign on this property was unbelievable. As you will see in the pictures, there were numerous deer trails and the vast majority of them, looked just like cow paths. You will not have to worry about traffic along the north side of the property, as this tract lies on a class B road and the traffic is very minimal. There is a very nice draw on the west side of the farm that leads directly into the row crops, which the deer are definitely using. This draw is very distinctive on the aerial photo. As I walked the farm, I came across a number of places where I would personally hang a stand. The southwest corner of this farm is very secluded and the deer should have no issues what-so-ever, coming out to feed during daylight hours. I found a freshly rubbed tree in this draw and a ton of deer trails. Didn't find any scrapes, but it won't be long before they start showing up. Disclaimer; when I inspected this property, it was raining. When the lighting started, I left. So, I did not make it all the way to the very south end of the farm. However, I'm going to assume, the south end of this farm is just as good as the rest of this property, based on the amount of deer sign I found. This farm is in Zone 8.
